Société : Le 1er arrondissement de N’Djaména prévoit près de 3 milliards FCFA pour son budget 2026
La commune du 1er arrondissement de N’Djaména a lancé, ce mercredi 31 décembre 2025, les travaux de sa session budgétaire dédiée à l’examen du budget primitif de l’exercice 2026. Les élus communaux se penchent sur un budget global estimé à près de 3 milliards de FCFA, en recettes comme en dépenses.
Comparé à l’année 2025, ce budget affiche une progression de 26 %, traduisant la volonté des autorités communales de renforcer les actions en faveur du développement local et de l’amélioration des conditions de vie des habitants.
Les priorités retenues portent notamment sur les infrastructures de proximité, l’accès aux services sociaux de base, la salubrité urbaine, la sécurité ainsi que la prévention des risques liés aux inondations.
Prenant la parole à l’ouverture de la session, le maire du 1er arrondissement, M. Djamal Yaya Djamal, a souligné les efforts accomplis en matière de mobilisation des ressources. Il a indiqué que l’exercice 2025 s’est achevé avec un taux de recouvrement des recettes ordinaires et extraordinaires de 70 %, résultat obtenu grâce à la redynamisation des services compétents et à l’extension de la bancarisation.
Face aux défis climatiques, la lutte contre les inondations reste au cœur de l’action municipale, à travers des mesures d’adaptation visant à répondre aux préoccupations récurrentes des populations.
Par ailleurs, le maire a annoncé l’organisation prochaine de la deuxième édition de la Semaine culturelle, artistique et entrepreneuriale, avant d’inviter les conseillers communaux à des échanges constructifs, guidés par la responsabilité et l’intérêt général.
